James A. Michener Art Museum

This stellar team made the events of our wedding day go seamlessly. We and our guests were thrilled with the quality of the food and service which made guests feel at ease. Communication before and during the event was terrific as well. Would recommend CBD to anyone who asked.

I want to thank Terri Fair from Catering by Design for her attention to detail and support during the planning of Sarah and Dane's wedding. I was very happy with the organization of the entire process. Food was great, guests were happy. Everything turned out better than expected! Terri handled all of the details seamlessly! The Michener Art Museum was a fabulous venue. The outside courtyard was perfect for the ceremony and cocktail hour. The inside ballroom was beautiful and dramatic when lit up in the evening. At the end of the evening, all of our belongings were packed up and loaded into my car. We'd highly recommend both CBD and the Michener as a venue. The museum space was gorgeous in late Spring, and was perfect for a ceremony/reception at the same site — easy to navigate, beautiful art and expansive spaces, and located near to Doylestown and lots of hotels and B&Bs.

We had a great experience with Terri Fair and Catering By Design at our wedding at the Michener Museum this past October. They were able to work within our budget while still making the event fabulous and memorable! The evening went smoothly, the floral was beautiful and we received many compliments on the food!

We had our wedding in the Pavillion at The James Michener Museum in October. The event was exactly what I had dreamed - flawless and stunning. Craig was so amazing to work with - from start to finish I felt at ease with the museum and catering. The food was more that I could have asked for - fantastic! It was a treat for my guests to have such amazing food. The Pavillion was so beautiful at night and dramatic- so elegant and breathtaking!

From our first meeting to our last, you have been gracious, accommodating and insightful every step of the way...a true professional. I would never have survived the planning and preparations without your calm, capable and reassuring guidance. Thank you!

Sue-I wanted to thank you again for all your help with our event last night. It really came together nicely and we appreciate all that went into it.

Sue Cunnane, Amir and all the staff were professional, speedy and helpful. This was our third Jeffrey Miller affair. We were married at Aldie Mansion and also had my 40th b-day there. I can't sing Shelley Nohowel's praises high enough!! As people said, "the food this time was even better than before!" "How did they keep the salmon so tender and moist - in a buffet, no less!" "The greens were fabulous." As we have come to expect, the food and presentation were wonderful and Sue Cunnane was a top-notch event manager. She was responsive to all of my questions and requests. We had some logistical tricks to work out: how to design the room to give our young teens the illusion or privacy and how in the world to seat 177 people and have a buffet and cocktails set up! I know she was challenged, but she never let me know if she was ruffled! And the solutions worked beautifully. Also, she kept me up to date with the changes to the evening as they (one or two) arose. Our friends and family are still talking about what a wonderful time they had and most importantly, Isaiah had a wonderful day. We look to calling on JAM in the future.
