This historic estate is located just over the covered bridge in a picturesque setting within Valley Forge National Historic Park, the site on which General George Washington’s army encamped from 1777 until 1778 during the American Revolutionary War. Originally built in the late 1700s, The Estate once served as the summer home of Philander Chase Knox, former U.S. Attorney General, U.S. Secretary of State and U.S. Senator and now serves as the perfect location to host events that are truly revolutionary.
Prepare for your special day surrounded by historic elegance in a private bridal suite and a private bridesmaid’s suite each featuring their own powder room. The beautifully manicured lawn looks out to colorful wildflowers and the charming Valley Creek, creating the perfect backdrop for exchanging vows.

Such a big thank you to every at Robert Ryan Catering and the Philander Chase Knox Estate! From beginning to end our wedding was amazing. I can't think of a more beautiful setting to say I do. I got such great compliments but the truth is the wedding was amazing because of the great team who helped us! Leigh is the wedding planner and was awesome at all the details and helping us with everything. Lisa was just amazing during our rehearsal and the day of. I quite literally did not have to worry about one thing. Lisa had everything handled with a smile on her face. Our waitress was amazing too (in all the hustle and bustle I forgot her name) but she made sure my husband and I always had a drink in our hand. And we actually got to eat our food (which is great because it was so delicious!) I cannot thank everyone at the PCK house enough! Our pictures turned out stunning! If you're a bride looking at venues, this one is worth every penny and then some!
It is impossible to say too many good things about Robert Ryan Catering and their newest venue, the Philander Chase Knox Estate. My husband and I were married there in July, and every part of our experience was absolutely perfect! From the beginning of the process the Robert Ryan team was professional, informative, flexible, and so much fun to work with. They truly made the wedding planning process a breeze. We worked with Leigh throughout the planning process and Lisa and Wyatt on the wedding day. They all were spectacular. They made us feel like family (my mom actually asked if we had known Wyatt before the wedding...he was THAT good), made sure we had everything we needed, and our guests have not stopped raving about the food, and the expert and personal service they received from the staff! There is absolutely nothing we would have changed about the wedding day, and we have Robert Ryan Catering and the Philander Chase Knox Estate to thank for that! They really thought of everything, and executed every detail perfectly! All we had to do was show up and enjoy every minute of the day! If you are thinking about booking this venue, do it! I promise you will not be disappointed!
