Adorning Philadelphia's famous Boathouse Row with the city's only operating lighthouse, Turtle Rock Lighthouse, Sedgeley Club provides a unique and stately setting for your intimate wedding.

Return to the elegance of the 19th century when you could only get to a boathouse by canoe, bicycle or by horse and buggy. The enclosed porch has views of the Schuylkill River and Center City lights and is furnished with wicker and cheerful fabrics. The venue is fully climate controlled for summer and winter comfort. Reviews

We could not have found a better venue for our reception. The Sedgeley Club is on Boathouse Row, right on the river. It only seats 60 people, or 90 for a cocktail reception. It does not allow dancing as it is an historical building. But the beauty of the building and the views are enough to keep guests enjoying their time. We were told by many of our guests that ours was one of the best weddings they had been to. No one seemed to miss the dancing.
