With its charming historic mansion that serves as a Playhouse and sprawling six-acre Playground, Smith is a magical one-of-a-kind site for your event. Located minutes from Center City Philadelphia, just off Kelly Drive, Smith is nestled among the beautiful trees and expansive lawns of Fairmount Park.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Smith's Playhouse, an elegant three-story mansion, is surrounded by terraces and porches. Inside, the Playhouse's graceful staircase, large windows, and warm woodwork create the perfect setting for a corporate event, cocktail party, reception, dinner, wedding, even a baby shower or anniversary party.

Outside, Smith's six-acre Playground with its award-winning Ann Newman Giant Wooden Slide invites fun, festivity and celebration.

Rental fees

The special event weekend (Saturday & Sunday) fee is $2,000 for six hours inclusive of vendor set-up time. If an extension beyond six hours is required for the Special Event there will be a charge of $250 for each additional hour.
